The Sickness

My poor kids. Both have fevers and poor Lou is so sad. My heart is breaking (as well as my back as I fell down the CMA steps yesterday). The chef & I pulled an all nighter. Biggie won’t eat, won’t sleep, won’t smile. Damn you influenza! Damn you!
*****UPDATE*****
After a grueling day of no sleep and very loud crying Lou has finally gone to sleep. It is now 10pm and she had been awake for over 24 hrs. The docor told us that not only is she cutting 2 more teeth, she also has a superbad ear infection. I am now drinking a very LARGE glass of red wine (w/ ice…don’t tell the chef).

ugh… the dreaded sickness - we just finished up our bout of it - raging fevers (106*F!!!) and a trip to the peds with 2 kids - no fun! But it’s this summer virus going around - it’s like 5 days of not eating, laying around, sleeping and fevers…then they break the fever and break out in a splotchy-rash… good times !
Here’s to hoping you are closer to day 5 than day 1 of the plague!

This post made me very happy. Why? It’s supposed to be a sad post! Well, he steps at the CMA is where my hubs proposed to me a few years ago
I am very, very sorry that you fell down them though. But thank you so much for posting that picture because it made my day!
I hope your kiddies feel better soon. When my baby girl is feverish the only thing she’ll eat is juice frozen on a popsicle stick. Try it, yo.
