1965 Mick Jagger (Hot Damn!)

2008 Mick Jagger
Although Mick looks like a deranged grandpa above, I still think that he looks natural. The man has enough money to do a little nip tuck but to me it looks as though he’s taken the natural route. Good for him.
I am unsure of how I will proceed with aging. I am quite vain and I have already noticed some serious wrinklege around my eyes. I wish I didn’t smile & laugh so much.
Just kidding. Sort of.
What your thoughts on aging gracefully? Would you go under the knife? Would you do cosmetics procedures like Botox or are you just gonna go au natutrale? Also are you attracted to people that age naturally? Or do you prefer the forever young?

Aging gracefully is the way to go, but so much easier said than done! I, too, am noticing the laugh/smile lines around my eyes, and though they say, “I’ve had a happy life so far,” they have the potential to cause me undo stress, making my life ever so slightly less happy.
But no knives at my face, thank you. It may be easier said than done to age gracefully, but I’ll struggle through it just to be graceful. And maybe invest in some really good facial cream.
Now, that boob job for my I’ve-had-a-baby-and-he-nursed-the-youth-out-of-my-breasts breasts…well, let’s just say I’ve considered a close encounter with the knife kind for their (and my) sake…
I most definitely plan on a boob job. Two kids that nursed + 36 DD’s = super sag
I always said by 35…
We are huge Rolling Stones fans in this house, and while Signor Chef prefers Keith, I have frequent fantasies involving Mick Jagger circa “Beggar’s Banquet” and a bubble bath.
There’s so much BAD plastic surgery walking around – mostly on the Upper East Side -that I don’t think I’d be willing to take the chance. My sister-in-law’s giant silicone orbs are enough to keep me from a boob job, so I guess I’m taking the natural route.
TOTALLY on board with botox and fillers, i.e. restalyne, etc. I’ve yet to see results of knife work that doesn’t kinda freak me out.
And I’m sorry, if that pic of Mick was a woman….double standards. Sucks.
My thoughts are that a “little bit” of help wouldn’t hurt; I believe moderation is the key, though. “joker” smiles, bulbis overfilled cheeks, and huge boobs are the results of too much of a good thing. It’s kind of the American way that we want more and more of something, and a “little bit” is never enough. So, I would go for it, but in moderation (I hope!)
Chef’s Widow…I love the fact that you are honest and say you “are unsure how you will proceed with aging” because you really don’t know how you will feel about it until you are older. I have heard some young women say they would NEVER get anything done, and I think, “honey, wait until you are 46, like me, and then we’ll see how you feel!”
I think I like men to stay natural, though. I guess I do have a double standard. Some of the celebs like Michael Douglas or Bruce Jenner look too weird for me! So, I am not attracted to men who have had work done. Hats off to Mick. I saw the Stones about ten years ago, and he can still move like it’s 1965! Still sexy!
I’ll be going the natural route, thankyouverymuch.
Hot-ass pic of Mick in ’65. Thanks for that! I just love that man, always have and always will.
Yeah- I’m not sure how I will proceed either- at my age- I guess I should know!! I def won’t go the Joan Rivers/Mary Tyler Moore route though- OH MY!
Yep- Mick does look so hot back in 65! (and a bit stoned)
I wonder if that is really his hair in the current pic???
I’m all about it. If I can afford it, I will lift several things – boobs, face and eyes.
Although we all need to try and avoid the zombie hand thing when when our faces look years younger.
I really hope I can follow through with this, but I plan to age gracefully. I really think a lot of older women are beautiful, especially if they are happy and it shows. I wait on a lot of women who’ve had work done, and it pretty much always looks terrible. I think i’d have microderm done on my face, but most people i’ve seen with botox look a little dazed. Maybe they are all going to the same doctor. I
That being said, if someone offered to lipsuck my poochy belly away, I wouldn’t even think twice!
btw, Mick Jagger ate in the restaurant where I worked about 2 years ago, and I couldn’t even pick him out in the restaurant; I thought he was a woman. He’s quite diminutive.
I think that there is nothing wrong with plastic surgery as long as you maintain the integrity of your natural appearance. For example, I used to *really* want a nose job — however, I reconsidered b/c I didn’t want to risk losing my natural self and looking like somebody else as a result. . .
Wrinkle removal is something that is acceptable in my book — this would enhance your appearance without taking away who you truly are. But I have to admit, if you’re going to have wrinkles, laugh lines and crows feet are the way to go (translation: a happy life spent in sunshine)*
