Bye Bye Clev-O

Published in Widowism by chefswidow

I’m off to Chicago this morning but not before the Chef & I discovered a raccoon in our living room.

Figures.

Happy Thursday. If you see the Chef this weekend give him a big ‘ole kiss from me. xoxo

Hmm, wonder how Rocky Raccoon got in? I would hazard a guess that you need to repair, replace or install a screen on top of the chimney. Have great trip to Chicago.

Holy crap!! How did a racoon get into your house? That would freak my shit out!

Have a safe flight. Call me when you get in.

p.s. I hope the president’s visit to Chicago doesn’t mess up your flight or commute into the city.

When we lived in Rocky River, a mother racoon and 3 babies got trapped inside our walls; don’t ask me how! It was a very old house. We opened up an access panel on the third floor and they found their way out into the third floor. (Eric’s room was on the third floor!) They looked frazzled and worn out from being trapped. We borrowed 2 animal traps from the city, lured them in with food, and the city picked them up and said they would release them without harm-hope they did!

If we found a raccoon in our house my husband would be over the moon. Me… not so much.
