A friendly organic milk, egg, and spelt, supplier from our farmer's market will most likely be losing his farm because issue 2 passed. so sad. he is an amish school teacher on the far southeast... who knows what will happen now. i'm worried, anxious, and nauseated.

Thanks for posting on this. I too felt crappy about the passing of issue 2 and 3. I voted "no" on both and after hearing that they passed I felt really defeated. Your post reminded that there are many people who felt and voted the same way I did and I was not alone in my stance against the two issues.

Thanks for giving some ideas on what people can do now. Also, it cannot be stressed enough how important it is for people to vote. I always wonder after elections what the results would be if we had 100% voter participation.

Great post Amelia. While I too am disappointed with the outcome of the vote on these two issue I realize that it's more important than ever to be the change I want to see. It all begins with us.

For those of us who care about food issues we need to keep promoting the family farms that we buy from to others and need to keep making consumer choices that support the kind of world we want.
