Five Films I’m Going to Check Out at The Cleveland International Film Festival
Published in Widowism by chefswidowThere are a whole bevy of great films being featured at the festival this year and because I am blogging I have the opportunity to give some ticket vouchers away.
WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN, yo.
All you have to do is go to the CIFF website, check out the films, and tell me which film you would like to see in the comments. Simple right? I will also add additional entries for following me on the Twit and becoming my amigo on the Fbook. Just make sure to leave me a comment that you did so. I will announce SIX winners next Tuesday March 16th so you will have enough time to get your ticket on before Opening Night.
Tickets for the Cleveland International Film Festival are on sale NOW. Don’t forget about the Shorts program either, it looks amazeballs.

Amelia – I’m coming with you – those movies look awesome… how nice would it be to spend the whole day watching something other than noggin, pbs and/or disney!
It can be the OHmommy, Chef’s Widow and Multitasker’s movie day out!

I have two tickets of my own and 8 (the film I wanted to desperately see) was pulled. Although, I think My Life Without Sex looks pretty good too.
I was just looking at the program last night. I hope to see Hipsters at the showing at the Cedar Lee. And I’m planning on seeing the short documentary about the GM Plant closing in Moraine.
I want to see Ingredients: http://www.clevelandfilm.org/festival/films/2010/ingredients
Mark and I are planning on going to see Ingredients. Wish we could see more, though!
I want to see A Town Called Panic and Youngstown as well as Ingredients . I have a son who is studying animation so these will be very interesting to me. I also have a son who is a filmmaker and one who is a chef…..so we’d have lots to talk about. I’m a new fb friend and tweet follower
I have been hearing about the IFF in Cleveland and I have to say I wanted to go but was unsure about it. I think that I really want to see ‘for the Life of me” but I am sure there are many others that are just as good.
I am going to see Paper Man too, plus The Last Truck and Louder Than a Bomb.
Those are all good movies you guys have mentioned. Also check out The Last Days of Emma Blank, Marwencol and Warrior Champions. Harvest is really good too.
I can’t believe we start the film fest next week!
Hope to see you all there
I love going to the festival every year! I’m excited to see Ingredients, Paperman and 9000 needles!
Thanks for picking your top 5! I was looking at the list and let me tell you..it’s a bit overwhelming! It’s nice to see someone else’s opinion on what looks good
Besides, I trust your taste!
I don’t know what to pick either. So, was super excited when I saw your list too.
I thinking of Ingredients too (they’ve got the one w/ a discussion forum after; though it’d prob be lovelier if they served drinks at the forums).
& Hipsters. Russians, in an underground community listening to forbidden music while wearing forbidden clothes. & a MUSICAL! What’s not to like?!
Ingredients and Paper Man are on my list!
Love the CIFF! While hard to whittle it down to just 5 favs, here are some of my selections.
Chameleon
Handsome Harry
Bomber
Dear Lemon Lima
Father & Guns
Cow
Colony is on my must see list and about 8 other documentaries!
I’ve been following your blog for a while but just became a fan on facebook. Looking forward to regular updates and possibly seeing you at the festival.
