Cleveland Public Library joins the celebration as the holiday season kicks off in Downtown Cleveland. FREE fun for the whole family: 

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. -- TOY TRAIN DEPOT -- interactive model train displays courtesy of the Cuyahoga Valley S-Gauge Association. Louis Stokes Wing, Lower Level. 

12 - 1 p.m. -- RIVER VALLEY RINGERS handbell choir. Main Library, 1st floor. 

1:30 - 2:30 p.m. -- RE-SOUNDING JOY Tibetan singing bowls and chimes. Main Library, 1st floor

1 - 3 p.m. -- REINDEER JUNCTION: meet two of Santa's reindeer-in-training as they stop by for a visit. Eastman Reading Garden, Superior Avenue entrance

1 - 4 p.m. -- IMAGINATION STATION: kids' crafts, fun, stories and more. Main Library, 4th floor, Youth Services Department

1 - 5 p.m. -- CONDUCTOR COMET the reindeer will be here to welcome visitors of all ages. Get out your camera or cell phone and take a photo with Comet to remember the Winterfest fun! 

2 p.m. -- CHRISTMAS TUBA ENSEMBLE: Holiday music fills the halls. Enjoy holiday cookies and warm, spiced cider while you sing along. Louis Stokes Wing, Lower Level. 

2:30 p.m. -- CLEVELAND'S HOLIDAY BAKING: Laura Taxel, author of "Cleveland Ethnic Eats" and "Cleveland's West Side Market: 100 Years and Still Cooking" shares stories (and samples) of some of Cleveland's favorite traditional holiday treats. Louis Stokes Wing, 3rd floor, Science & Technology Department.

5 p.m. -- A CHRISTMAS CAROL: Join costumed characters from Great Lakes Theater's 25th anniversary production as they read and perform selections from Dickens' holiday favorite.
