International Children's Festival at Playhouse Square
Playhouse Square's International Children Festival
This blog allows me to do some pretty radical things. This spring I am going to be checking out the International Children's Festival at Playhouse Square. I met with the director of the event, Colleen Porter & education program manager, Cindi Syzmanski over lunch back in February so I could learn more about this unique and amazing festival that is going to blow the minds of Cleveland children.
Colleen searched for artist, musicians, dancers, and actors from all over the world and the result is pretty staggering. For four days, the children of Cleveland will be able to participate in events like they have never seen. They will be given a massive glimpse into the wonderful world of creativity. From rocking out to Zydeco to dancing with butterflies in Farfalle, the children of Cleveland are going to be exposed to some brilliant and life changing events.
I am beyond impressed with what the festival is offering and I urge you to attend. Get your children out of the house and introduce them to the arts!
Dream Jam Band's Jump to Conclusions
Playhouse Square has given me four (4) tickets for The Dream Jam Band concert. The Chef & I took the boy last year and he had a great time. The band is funky and interactive with the kids, and the tunes aren't half bad.
